Mrs. Helen Hobbs Fults passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 10, 2015, at Galloway Ridge in Pittsboro, North Carolina. She was a lady of notable beauty, grace, and kindness. She was born on October 17, 1919, to the late Bertha and Benjamin Hobbs, and grew up in Greenwood, Mississippi. She played violin as a child, studied at Delta State University, and worked for the Federal Bureau of Investigation. She was married to the late Daniel Webster Fults, Jr., and lived for many years in Houston, Texas. She was a Baptist and active in the Willow Meadows Baptist Church. As a homemaker, she was dedicated to her family and did volunteer work at Memorial Southwest Hospital. She later worked in retail at Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman-Marcus. She is survived by her daughter Patricia Fults Tidwell (husband Richard) of Pittsboro, NC, son Daniel Webster Fults, III (wife Carol) of Salt Lake City, Utah, sister Beverly Lewis, grandchildren Erin Fults, Robin Fults, Alec Tidwell, Lisa Tidwell, Margot Puckett (Mike) and great grandson Everett Puckett.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00Am on Thursday, May 14, 2015 at the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Greenwood, Mississippi.
