Howard Morgan Vaughn, 77, formerly of Greenwood, went to be with the Lord at his home in Madison, Ms on October 7, 2016. He was born April 22, 1939 at Carrollton, Ms. Services will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday at Wilson and Knight Funeral Home in Greenwood.
Mr. Vaughn was preceded in death by his parents Howard Almon and Velma Lee Vaughn, two brothers, Jessie Wayne and Larry Vaughn, and a sister Dorothy Welch.
He was a magna cum laude graduate of Mississippi College earning a BA in Economics and a MBA.
He was owner of Howard Vaughn Realty and Howard Vaughn Builders of Clinton. After retiring, he moved to Madison to be near his children and grandsons.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Rose Gnemi Vaughn, two children, Wayne (Veronica) and Angie (Pat) Healy; three grandsons, Reed and Ryan Vaughn and Wade Healy. He is also survived by a brother, Paul Vaughn; two sisters, Faye Wiltshire and Frances Evans.
