Services for Hugh Ellis Therrell will be held Friday, November 4, 2016 01:00 PM at Immanuel Baptist Church in Greenwood, MS.
Mr. Therrell, age 83, died on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at Golden Age Nursing Home of
He was born on April 08, 1933 in Indianola, MS, to the late James and Fannie Davidson Therrell. Mr. Therrell retired from the US Post Office after 31 years of service. He was a US Army veteran of the Korean War, and was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.
He is survived by wife, Annette Willey Therrell of Greenwood, MS; daughter, Cynthia White of Greenwood, MS; grandson, Thomas White, and a granddaughter, Crystal Higginbotham.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 4, 2016 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Immanuel Baptist Church in Greenwood. Rev. Tommy Williamson will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be Russell Robertson, Derek Dodd, Mike Ellis, Jo Fennell, and James "Pookie" Yeoman. Burial will be in Blythe Creek cemetery in Mathiston, MS.
Wilson and Knight Funeral Home is in charge.
