Services for Idessie Henderson Barrett will be held Tuesday December 23, 2014 2:00 PM at Graveside in Odd Fellows Cemetery.
Mrs. Barrett, age 94 died on Monday December 22, 2014 at Greenwood Leflore Hospital of Heart Failure.
She was born on February 20, 1920 in Merigold, MS to the late: Daniel and Rosie Bryant Henderson and lived in Greenwood, MS. She loved working in her yard and did it until the age of 93. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and loved her church very much. She worked for JC Penney for many years. she is preceded in death by her parents, Husband John Carroll Barrett, Son Donald Rex Barrett, two sisters, one brother, and two grandchildren..
She is survived by a Daughter, Annette Smith of Greenwood, MS, three grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren.
Dr. Wayne Kimbrough will officiate the services. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery.
