Jack L. Dorman, 78, of Greenwood died Friday, October 18, 2013 at Greenwood Leflore Hospital. There will be a memorial service 11 a.m. Saturday, October 26, 2013 at Cook Family Cemetery in Oakland, MS.
Mr. Dorman was born in Oakland, MS on April 30, 1935 to Leon and Lena Dorman. He worked for as a pressman for the Greenwood Commonwealth and Tuckers Truck Stop for many years. He was preceded in death by his step-father W.C. Sudduth.
He is survived by his wife Norma D. Dorman of Greenwood and his two daughters Candy Hony and husband Michael of Greenwood, Darlynn Kelly and husband Fred of Carrollton and two sons Lance Dorman and Otha Mitchell both of Greenwood. His sisters Margaret Jean Ross of Oakland and Carolyn Cagle and husband James Clyde of Kosciusko. Six grandchildren Dawn Williams of Greenwood, Heather Peacock of Hernando, Michelle Kelly of Jackson, Fred Kelly, Jr. of Carrollton, Angela Malouf of Greenwood, and Jessica Byrd of Sunflower. Four great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
