Services for Jackie Faye Walker Kyle will be held Wednesday, August 24, 2016 2:00 PM at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home in Greenwood, MS.

Mrs. Kyle, age 83, died on Monday, August 22, 2016 at Walter B. Crook Nursing Home.
She was born on December 08, 1932 in Poplar Creek, MS, to the late Landy Columbus and Lillie Kennedy Walker.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Robert Lee Kyle of Minter City, MS; three sons, Jack Kyle of Minter City, MS, Joel David (Nancy) Kyle of Minter City, MS, and Stephen Wells (Donna) Kyle of Winona, MS; three sisters, Maxine Malier of Minter City, MS, Katy Morgan of Hammond, LA, and Lynda Steed of Indianola, MS; 4 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brothers Loftin Walker and Bob Walker.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home in Greenwood. Rev Linnie Maples will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be Todd Kyle, Stan Kyle, Richard Morehead, Landy Morgan, Quentin Stubbs and Stacy Walker. Burial will be in Lehrton Cemetery in Ruleville, MS.
Mrs. Kyle operated the Minter City Grocery with her husband for many years. She was a charter and lifelong member of the Walton Chapel Church of God at Minter City where she loved to sing in the choir and teach Sunday School to children and young people. She was very faithful in her attendance and support of the church. She attended Minter City High School.

Guynes, Dr. Phillip Blaine Ley, Dr. Shannon Myers, Dr. Rebekah Moulder, and Dr. Sayed Rafique. Special appreciation is also extended to Ms. Mary Rose, administrator of the Walter B. Crook Nursing Home in Ruleville, and all of the kind and professional staff at the Crook Nursing Home who gave loving care to her during her illness.
