Memorial services for James David Alewine will be held Friday August 28, 2015 11:00 AM Graveside in Providence Baptist Church Cemetery, in Webster County.

Mr. Alewine, age 73 died on Monday August 24, 2015 at his residence of heart failure.

He was born on June 05, 1942 in Pope, MS to the late Fletcher Claude "peaches" and Dolly Ophelia Ragon Alewine and resided the past thirty years in Itta Bena. He retired from Nash's B P after thirty four years of service and was a member of First Baptist Church in Itta Bena. He is preceded in death by twin brother Danny Alewine, brothers Ronnie Alewine, Lowry Alewine and Billy Alewine, sisters Delores Cook and Claudette Wages.

He is survived by Wife, of forty years, Nancy Gregg Alewine of Itta Bena, MS. Sister, Frances Garrison of Carrollton, MS. Sister, Carol (Robert) Cook of Sardis, MS. Sister, Ann Hudspeth of Senatobia, MS. Brother, Steve Alewine of Batesville, MS. and a host of nieces and nephews.

Rev. Higdon Herrington will officiate the services. Burial will be in Providence Baptist Church Cemetery.
