Stewart, Jr
Dec 9, 1960 — Sep 8, 2024
Carrollton
James Franklin Stewart, Jr., known as "Frank," passed away September 8, 2024, at his home in Carrollton, Mississippi.
Frank was born December 9, 1960, in Memphis, Tennessee, to James Franklin Stewart, Sr., and Margaret Romanoli Stewart. He grew up in Como, Mississippi, and was a graduate of Quitman County High School. He diligently worked for over 40 years in the agriculture industry, primarily as an ag pilot.
He was a dedicated husband and father, and he was known as a friend to all he knew. He lived his life with no concern for his own attention or recognition, but with great concern for loving, caring, and providing for others. He was known by both his family and his professional peers for doing and teaching what is right and what is safe. These traits were recognized by the Pilot of the Year Award presented to Frank by the Mississippi Agricultural Aviation Association for his 2023 flying year.
He is preceded in death by his father, James Franklin Stewart, Sr.; his mother, Margaret Romanoli Stewart; his sister, Elizabeth Billingsley; his stepdaughter, Amelia Franks; and his wife, Karen Hunt Stewart. He is survived by his sister, Beverly McCullar; his brother, Chris Stewart; his stepson, Robert Franks; and his son, Tripp Stewart.
