Services for Jammye Wiltshire Childers will be held Tuesday, December 27, 2016 2:00 PM at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home.

Mrs. Childers, age 54, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at Greenwood Leflore Hospital.

She was born on June 25, 1962 in Jackson, MS, and resided in the Greenwood area most of her life. Mrs. Childers was a member of the Greenwood Church of God. She worked at her family's restaurant MEME'S, and she was an avid outdoors person who loved all animals, especially her horses. She is preceded in death by her father, James H. Wiltshire; brother, Steven R. Wright; and two sisters, Patricia D. Chaese and Janice Lowe.

She is survived by her mother, Rubye Britt Carlisle of Greenwood, MS; daughter, Brittney Melton of Greenwood, MS; son, Shaden (Julie) Wiggins of Greenwood, MS; sister, Vanessa Breeland of Saucier, MS; and two brothers, Darryl Wiltshire of Hot Springs, AR, and Christopher Wiltshire of Drew, MS.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 26, 2016 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home in Greenwood. Rev Gary Tanner will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be Bill Ventura, Ryan Lance, Richard Barksdale, Gary Loden, Bubba Tanner, Mike Stafford, Sammy Barksdale, and Jonathan D. Harper III. Honorary Pallbearers will be Mike Mims, Kenneth Melton, Ronnie Stone, and Gary Lance. Burial will be in Odd Fellows East Cemetery.
