Jane Hart McMillan Hargett, 67, of Minter City, Mississippi, died Friday, November 24, 2023, at Greenwood Leflore Hospital. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 27, 2023, at Episcopal Church of the Nativity in Greenwood. The service will begin at 12:00 p.m.

Mrs. Hargett was born in Greenwood, and she graduated from Pillow Academy and Mississippi State University where she was a member of Chi Omega sorority. She was an active member of the Episcopal Church of the Nativity. Mrs. Hargett served in various capacities at Pillow Academy for 35 years and was recognized for her enduring dedication to the school with the Bob Hardeman Distinguished Mustang Award in 2023.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Mary and M.L. "Son" McMillan.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Danny Hargett, and sons David (Jenni), Ben (Stribling), and Matt (Jamie). She is survived by six grandchildren, Ali, Henry, Jane, Cate, Eric, and Daniel. She is also survived by her sister, Melzana McMillan Fuller.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Mark Hargett, Alan Hargett, Terry Moody, Joe Tranum, Jerry Fuller, Dr. John Lucas, III, and Dr. Charles Nause.

Memorials may be made to Pillow Academy or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
