Services for Jay Gordon Wilson will be held Monday December 29, 2014 2:00 PM at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home in Greenwood, MS.

Mr. Wilson, age 68 died on Wednesday December 24, 2014 at Baptist Medical Center in Memphis TN of Heart Failure

He was born on December 29, 1945 in Marston, MO to the late A.J. and Lena Babbs Wilson and lived in the Greenwood area most of his life. He was a lifelong farmer and a member of the Marston Baptist church in Marston MO.

He is survived by Wife, Brenda H. Wilson of Holcomb, MS. Son, Jay K. Wilson of Winona, MS. Daughter, Wendi K. Wilson of San Antonio, TX. Brother, Jimmy A. Wilson of Monroe, LA. Sister, Joy W. Jenkins of Greenwood, MS, 7 grandchildren, one great grandchild, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Monday December 29, 2014 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home in Greenwood. Rev. Charlie Faust will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be Carey Bright, Chip Upchurch, Mike Fair, Kenny Thompson, Frank Knight Sr., and Mike Wiggins. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dr David Iansmith. Burial will be in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery near Holcomb.

Wilson & Knight is in charge. Memorials may be made to St Jude Children's Hospital or American Heart Association.
