Jesse Calvin Saulter, 66, of Carrollton, MS, died Sunday, June 27, 2021 at Greenwood Leflore Hospital. Services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, July 3, 2021 at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home with visitation from 10:00 AM until service time. The Rev. Larry Chouccoli will officiate.

Jesse was born February 23, 1955 in Leland, MS, to James Lefelt Saulter and Mellie Mae Chouccoli Saulter. He enjoyed spending time with his family and deer hunting with his children and grandchildren. There were not many places that you didn't see him without his dog Charlie Horse Saulter. He worked with land construction and dirt work through most of his life. He was preceded in death by his sister, Alice Saulter Swindle, and his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Clarke Saulter of Carrollton, MS; daughter, Felecia Michelle Saulter of Brandon, MS; son, James Clarke (Stacey) Saulter of Pass Christian, MS; brother, Eugene Lefelt (Dollie) Saulter of Carrollton, MS; sister, Patsy Saulter Knowles of Jackson, MS;  three grandchildren, Tiffany Nelms, James Carson Saulter, and Avery Saulter; brother-in-law, Warren Swindle of Brandon, MS; nephew, James Paul Swindle of Atlanta, GA; nieces, Sonya Swindle (Don) Henke of Brandon, MS, and Sukey Knowles-Hearld of Pearl, MS; great niece, Hannah Grace Henke; and great nephews Jonathan Hearld and Andrew Henke.
