BENOIT - Joann Holeman Pogue, age 70, died on Friday July 18, 2014 at the University Medical Center in Jackson MS. She was born on May 01, 1944 to the late Eugene and Catherine (Stone) Holeman, in Greenwood and resided most of her life in Greenville, MS. She was a retired hairdresser, loved to fish, and worked in the bait shop at the Benoit Outing Club for a number of years.

Visitation will be held on Monday July21, 2014 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Wilson & Knight Funeral Home in Greenwood. Memorial Services will be held Monday July 21, 2014 3:00 PM at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home in Greenwood, MS with the Rev Al Different officiating.


She is survived by Husband Arthur Pogue of Benoit, MS, 1 Son, Billy Ussery of Helena, AR, 1 Brother, Red Holeman of Cruger, MS, 3 Sisters, Odell Ratliff of Cruger, MS, Wahweice Daves of Black Hawk, MS, and Margie Ferro of Grand Rapids, MI, 3 Grandchildren, Steven Ussery, Katelyn Ussery, and Morgan Ussery.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to donor's choice. Wilson and Knight Funeral home is in charge.
