John Walter Sikes

July 22, 1964 - April 30, 2018

A visitation for John Walter Sykes will be held Sunday May 6, 2018 4:00pm till 6:00pm at Wilson and Knight Funeral Home. Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Mr. Sikes, age 53, died on Monday April 30, 2018 at residence.

He was born on July 22, 1964 in Dallas, TX, and resided in the Greenwood area most of his life. Mr. Sikes retired from Wade Inc. as parts manager after 27 years of service. He was an avid deer hunter and had a love for animals, especially his dogs. He is preceded in death by his father, James Sikes.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa Corley Sikes of Teoc, MS; mother, Bobbie Sikes of Sidon, MS; daughter, Tasha Holliman of Grenada, MS; two grandchildren, Gracie Holliman and Hedi Holliman; sister, Brandi (Charles) Floyd of Senatobia, MS; three nephews, Evan Floyd, Cole Floyd, and Ryan Floyd; and a niece, Alayna Floyd.
