John Vegezzi, 88, of Memphis, TN, died Saturday, February 8, 2025 at his residence. Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at Wilson and Knight Funeral Home in Greenwood, MS.

Mr. Vegezzi was born on October, 8, 1936 to the late Charles and Josephine Vegezzi. He was a graduate of Holy Cross High School in New Orleans and Tulane University. He retired as a Captain with the Memphis Police Department after 30 years of service.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Joan Vegezzi of Memphis, TN; son, John Vegezzi of Rochester Hill, MI; sister, Marilyn Jones; and three grandchildren Lindsay Vegezzi, Haley Vegezzi, and Sydney Vegezzi.
