Services for Josephine Morgan Gross will be held Monday, January 24, 2022 2:00 PM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Greenwood, MS.

Mrs. Gross, age 75, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, January 15, 2022.

She was born on September 10, 1946 in Greenwood, MS, to the late James and Florence Baglan Morgan. She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Greenwood and retired as a legal secretary for attorneys Fred Witty and George Dulin. She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Dedra Elaine Gross; three brothers, James Dudley Morgan, Jr., William George Morgan, and Charles Henry Morgan; and a sister, Carolyn Morgan Little.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Gross of Greenwood, MS; daughter, Jackie Taylor of Greenwood, MS; granddaughter, Randi Elaine Simmons of Greenwood, MS; and two sisters, Florence Morgan Geoghagan of Greenwood, MS, and Mary Ethel Duggins of Coila, MS.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 24, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Pallbearers will be Morgan Geoghagan, Allen Geoghagan, Charles Wright, Bobby Taylor Jr., Matt Livingston, and Johnny Jennings.

Private family interment will follow in Odd Fellows East Cemetery.

The family extends a special thanks to the staff of Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland, MS, and Dr. Philip Chustz and Dr. Robert McMurray.

Memorials may be made to St Jude Children's Hospital.
