Joy Montague Elliott , 93, of Greenwood, MS, died Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at Indywood Glen Personal Care. Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Monday, November 18, 2019 at Odd Fellows Cemetery. Rev. Ed Saunders will officiate.

Mrs. Elliott was born November 1, 1926 in Vaiden, MS, to John Howard Montague and Ilene Gipson Montague. She retired from Hickok Electronics after 42 years. She loved her job and the many friends there. After retirement she took care of her parents until their deaths. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Kealhofer Elliott, infant son, Kenneth Gene Elliott, brother, James Montague, and her parents.

Mrs. Elliott is survived by two daughters, Janis Yearwood and husband Al of Germantown, TN, and Mary Jane Juchheim and husband Paul of Greenwood, MS; five grandsons, Al Yearwood, Jeff Yearwood, Casey Yearwood, and Brett Yearwood, all of Memphis, TN, and Trip Juchheim of Greenwood, MS; four great-grandchildren, Cade Yearwood, Wilson Yearwood, Tyler Yearwood, and Molly Kate Yearwood, all of Memphis, TN; and her cousin and lifelong friend, Dorothy Hemphill.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons and great-grandsons.

The family thanks her friends and caregivers at Indywood Glen Personal Care Home for the loving care she received there.
