Dorylan Monroe "JR" Brown, Jr.

JR Brown, age 57, died on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at his residence in Ruleville.

He was born on May 9, 1964 in Lafayette County, MS, to the late Dorylan Monroe Brown and Frances Charlene Houston.  JR was an EMT Director over the ambulance service in Tunica County until his retirement. He was an avid Ole Miss fan and loved all animals especially his four fur babies.

He is survived by his two brothers, Steven E. Brown of Sardis, MS, and Lawrence W. Houston of Sardis, MS; caregiver, Roger Turner of Ruleville, MS; four nieces, a nephew, and four fur babies.
