Services for June Gore Wier will be held Thursday, May 31, 2018 3:00PM graveside in North Union Cemetery in Bellefontaine, MS.

Ms. Wier, 86, of Olive Branch, MS, formally of Money, passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at Apple Grove Nursing Home in Memphis, TN.  She graduated from Greenwood High School in 1949 and was retired from Willow Run Gin Company.  She was an active member of North Park Church in Greenwood, MS, and Abundant Grace Ministries in Collierville, TN.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Wier of Money, MS;  parents, Bartholow Gore and Ruth Pounds Gore; sister, Kathryn Gore Narmour, and brother, Bobby Gore, all of Philipston, MS.

Ms. Wier is survived by her three sons, Robbie (Kathy) Wier of Olive Branch, MS, Ricky (Becky) Wier of Pearl, MS, and David (Vicki) Wier of Olive Branch, MS; sister, Alene Gore (Bill) Thornton of Vicksburg, MS;    six grandchildren: Kelly Wier Winter (Brian) of Tupelo, MS, Rob (Victoria) Wier of Lewisburg, MS, Jamie (Meagan) Wier of Brandon, MS, Jeremy (Beth) Wier of Pearl, MS, Courtney Wier of Kosciusko, MS, and Zack Wier of Olive Branch, MS, and 12 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Thursday, May 31, 2018 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home in Greenwood, MS. Ricky Wier will officiate the services. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
