Services for Kathryn Elouise Inman will be held Friday, August 05, 2016 11:00 AM at North Carrollton Baptist Church. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2016 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home in Greenwood and Friday August 5, 2016 10:00AM until the service at North Carrollton Baptist Church. Bro Wilton Neal will officiate the services. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in North Carrollton, MS. Wilson & Knight Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Inman, age 87, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at Residence.
She was born on December 28, 1928 to the late Earl and Ida Jennings Miller in Sidon and resided in Drew MS until moving to McCarley in 1979. Mrs. Inman was a co-owner and bookkeeper for Inman Enterprises. She was a "powder puff" racecar driver, a Cub Scout Den Mother and constant chapharone for many of the school trips, for Drew High School. Always watching over and taking care of the many kids she called, her own. She was named the 'National Greyhound Bus Agent ' of the year in 1969. She was a craftsman / painter / writer. Her specialty, was to make something from what had been thrown away. She lived life that way. Always looking for the good in people and things. She was a member of the North Carrollton Baptist Church and her special, 'Carrollton Red Hat Society'. She is preceded in death by her husband John Hardy Inman.
She is survived by three Sons, Ronnie (Pam) Inman of Carrollton, MS, Randy (Sandra) Inman of Pearl, MS, Marvin (Mary) Inman of Carrollton, MS; Daughter, Phyllis (Tom) Parks of Lampe, MO; Grandchildren, Crystal G. Inman Charlton (Jeff ) , Christopher M. Inman, Gregory ( Roxanna ) Dees , Shannon ( Michael ) Haddon , Renee Inman , Jessica ( Steve ) Marsh, Great-Grand Daughters, Abigail Rose Inman, Kaela Inman , Emily Irvin , Grace Inman , Johanna Dees, Kaylee Haddon, great-great grandson Sawyer Ytuarte.
Pallbearers will be Cristopher Inman, Jeff Charlton, Dale Gomiller , Clint Russel , James "Mike" Little , Kevin Marlow.
