Kennon Bailey Turner , Sr ., 87, of Greenwood, MS, died Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at Greenwood Leflore Hospital. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, in Pine Crest Cemetery near Tchula, MS. Rev. Scott Wright will officiate.

Mr. Turner was born October 27, 1932 in Cruger, MS, to John Edwin Turner, Sr. and Johnnie Byron Bailey Turner. He lived in Greenwood most of his life and retired in March 1991 as an air traffic controller for the FAA. He was a member of St. John's Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ann Gordon Turner.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Tullos Turner of Greenwood, MS; two sons, Kennon B. "Kenny" Turner, Jr. and wife Judy of Marks, MS, and Gregory Neil Turner and wife Jayne of Leland, MS; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to St. John's United Methodist Church Youth, 1001 Grand Blvd. Greenwood, MS 38930.
