Services for Linda Faye Dorris Green will be held Wednesday, May 22, 2019 11:00 AM at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home in Greenwood, MS.

Mrs. Green, age 73, died on Sunday, May 19, 2019 at Tyler Holmes Memorial Hospital in Winona.

Linda was born on May 11, 1946 in Greenwood, MS, to the late Abner and Alice McBride Dorris in Greenwood and resided in the Greenwood area all of her life. She worked for the Melton Law Firm and as a bookkeeper for St. Johns United Methodist Church. She was a member of North Carrollton Baptist Church, where she was the church pianist.  She is preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Dorris, and a sister, Jean Jones.

She is survived by her husband, Glenn Green of Carrollton, MS; two daughters, Payge (Scotty) Thornton of Carrollton, MS, and Candy (Kevin) Vickers of Cleveland, MS; and four grandchildren, Dillon Vickers, Ashley Vickers, Avery Thornton, and Taylor (Hunter) McCorkle.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home. Rev. Lanny Haley will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be Ricky Pullen, Timothy McBride, Jimmy McBride, Alton McBride, Chris Thomas, and Ronnie Moss. Honorary Pallbearer will be William McBride. Interment will follow in Moore's Memorial Cemetery.
