Mrs. Watson, age 39, passed away at her home August 27, 2019.

She was born on May 5, 1980 in Greenville, MS, to the late David and Janice Ruth Minga Watson, Sr. and resided in the Carrollton area most of her life. She was most known for her lighthearted humor and Halloween extravagance. Naomi and Lisa Watson had a love for New Orleans, LA, and the deep heritage the city has in its roots. Most of her days were spent attempting to better the community she served at the Jodie E. Wilson Branch Library of the Greenwood Leflore Public Library System.

She is survived by her wife, Naomi Ruth Watson of North Carrollton, MS; brother, David N. (Anna) Watson, Jr  of Carrollton, MS; aunt, Cleo (Charles) Elliott of Carrollton, MS; niece, Emily Cassiday of Carrollton, MS, and two nephews, David N. Watson III of Carrollton, MS, and Conner Cassiday of Carrollton, MS.
