Services for Marie Morehead Saucier will be held Tuesday March 22, 2016 11:00 AM at Mt Olive Baptist Church in Coila.

Mrs. Saucier, age 89 went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday March 19, 2016 at Golden Age Nursing Home.

She was born on November 10, 1926 to the late William and Cora Cates Morehead in Purvis MS and resided in the Greenwood area most of her life. She was a Homemaker and a member of Immanuel Baptist church. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, cooking and loved the lord. She is preceded in death by her husband H.K. Saucier.

She is survived by Daughter, Cathy Saucier of Greenwood, MS, two Sons, Kenneth (Mary Jane) Saucier of Columbus, MS, and Burt (Beverly) Saucier Sr. of Greenwood, MS, five Grandchildren, Burt Saucier Jr, Brady Saucier, Blake Saucier, Brooke Bullard, and Jessica Saucier, five Great Grandchildren, Landree Saucier, Adilee Marie Saucier, Jacob Myers, Alexis Myers, and Braxton Myers.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday March 22, 2016 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Mt Olive Baptist Church in Coila. Rev John Shackleford will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be Burt L Saucier Jr, Brady J. Saucier, Blake C. Saucier, Dustin Bullard, Grant Cleveland, and Bradley Smith. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dr. Michael Boler and Andy Wayne Peterson. Burial will be in Mt Olive Cemetery. The family would like to thank Dr. Michael Boler, Jay, Andrea, Martha and Blanche of Grace Community Hospice, and the staff of Yellow Wing at Golden Age Nursing Home.
