Martha Ball Sanders , 80, of Greenwood, MS, died Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at Golden Age Nursing Home. Graveside services will be Saturday, 3 p.m. in Evergreen Cemetery in North Carrollton. Dr. Billy Ray Stonestreet will officiate. Wilson & Knight Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Martha was born June 9, 1939 to Louis Hayden Ball and Helen Beck Ball. She lived most of her life in North Carrollton. She was a retired school teacher assistant at J.Z. George and a member of St. John's United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Arnold "Boo" Sanders; beloved siblings, Beck Ball, Robert Ball, and Mike Ball; and her parents.

She is survived by her daughter, Geney Sanders Galey (Colby), and grandchildren, Callie Galey and Tate Galey, all of Greenwood, MS; special sister-in-law, Patricia Ball of North Carrollton, MS; and several nieces and nephews.
