Services for Mary Jane Blackmon will be held Sunday June 28, 2015 3:00 PM at Carrollton Baptist Church in Carrollton, MS.

Mrs. Blackmon, age 80 died on Thursday June 25, 2015 at Greenwood Leflore Hospital of heart failure.

She was born on October 19, 1934 in West MS, MS to the late Bit and Dollie Wigley Kyzer in West MS and resided in Carrollton most of her life. She was a retired nurse from Greenwood Leflore Hospital. She was a member of the Carrollton Baptist Church, Daughters of the American Revolution, and Daughters of the Confederacy. He is preceded in death by a brother Houston Kyzer.

She is survived by a Daughter, Dawn McMinn of Greenwood, MS, Son, Burnett Blackmon Jr. of Carrollton, MS, three Grandchildren, Bo McMinn, Mary Beth McMinn, and Grayson McMinn, five Great Grandchildren, Landon McMinn, Logan McMinn, Keighly Jo McMinn, Paicelyn McMinn, and Sawyer McMinn, and a brother Ross Kyzer of Possumneck, MS

Visitation will be held on Sunday June 28, 2015 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Carrollton Baptist Church in Carrollton. Rev Fletcher Moorman will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be Howard Burns, Bert Woods, Lanny Lancaster, Don Seen, Roger Blackmon, and Benson Blackmon. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Adult II and Adult III Sunday School Classes. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
