Services for Mary T. Edwards will be held Saturday, February 04, 2017 2:00 PM at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home in Greenwood, MS.
Mrs. Edwards, age 44, died on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at Greenwood Leflore Hospital.
She was born on February 12, 1972 in Monroe, LA, to Jack and Betty Ann Nelson Riley. She lived in Memphis, TN, until moving to Greenwood 13 years ago. Mrs. Edwards worked at Milwaukee Tool from October 2002 until her retirement in November of 2014, and she was a member of Valley Hill Methodist Church. She was a very loving and kind person, who especially loved, music, fishing, cooking, riding in antique cars, and her dogs Butch, Buster, Jill, Zena, Diamond, Lynyrd, and Skynyrd. Mary, and her husband of 9 years Mitch, loved each other with all of their heart.
She is survived by her husband, Mitch Edwards of Greenwood, MS; step daughter, Mallory Elizabeth Edwards of Holcomb, MS; brother, Jack Cooley of Memphis, TN; sister, Lisa Cooley of Memphis, TN; Goddaughter, Gianna Corrigan; and seven cousins, Bridgette Corrigan, Bridgette Sherlock, Ann Spivey, Winnie Carroll, Jeannie Stanley, Tommy Nelson, and Jim Nelson.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2017 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Rev. Brad Hodges will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be Darryl Barrett, Tracey West, Harry Roland, Grady Perkins, Darrell Peniger and Danny Spivey. Interment will be in Valley Hill Methodist Cemetery.
