Mary Wall Hammons, 85 of Greenwood died Monday, January 18, 2016 at her residence. Graveside services will be 1p.m. Thursday, January 21, 2016 at Odd Fellows Cemetery. Dr. Billy Ray Stonestreet will officiate. Wilson & Knight Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Hammons was born August 15, 1930 to Roy Lee Wall and Geraldine Wall. She was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church where she was a member of the church circle and the Stewards Sunday School Class. She was a member of the Daughters of American Revolution and with her church circle she volunteered at Beacon Harbor. She was a registered nurse and was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years Bob Hammons.

Mrs. Hammons is survived by her daughters Jeri Mims of Foley AL and Jan Fletcher of Greenwood, two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to French Camp Academy or St. John's United Methodist Church.
