Mary Virginia Ramsey Jordan, 83 of Greenwood died Monday, April 13, 2015 at Golden Age Nursing Home. Services will be 5 p.m. on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at Wilson & Knight Chapel. Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home. Interment will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery. Rev. Wayne Kimbrough will officiate.

Mrs. Jordan was a native of Oktibbeha County, born July 16, 1931 to Robert Walter and Ravenia Thrasher Ramsey and lived in Greenwood for many years. She was a graduate of Starkville High School. She married Robert "Bobby" Jordan, Sr. on December 2, 1951. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church She worked as a secretary at H.A. Cummins of 20 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and grandson Cliff Stubbs.

She is survived by sons Leslie Jordan and wife Vadie of Greenwood, and Randy Jordan and wife Sherry of Greenwood, daughter Cheryl Stubbs and husband Billy of Greenwood , sisters Rev. Annette Sowell of Euless, TX and Jeanette Gross of Euless, TX, five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Jordan, Andy Jordan, Phillip May, Jeremy Story, Josh May and Billy Reid. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Michael Boler and the staff of Golden Age Nursing Home.
