Mary Olive Eudy Woods, 88, of Greenwood, MS, died on January 31, 2017 at The Orchard in Ridgeland, MS. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 4 from 9am to 10am with services held at 10am at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home in Greenwood, MS. The Rev Brad Hodges and Rev Glen Seefeld will officiate.

Mrs. Woods was a graduate of Millsaps College. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Greenwood for over 60 years and had been active in many functions of the church.

Mrs. Woods was born on November 1, 1928 to James Everett Eudy and Olive Mae Willingham. She married John F. Woods, Jr, in December 1950.

Mary Olive was preceded in death by her husband, John F. Woods, Jr., her parents, a son, James Michael Woods, and a sister, Rosa Eudy Hamby.

Survivors include a son: John F. Woods III (Karen); four grandchildren, Daniel Woods (Melia), Mark Woods (Sarah), Josh Woods, and Mary Aven Woods Brower (Joey); and seven great-grandchildren, Bethany Taylor Woods, Braden James Woods, Addison Grace Woods, Carson Woods Brower, Emerie Rose Woods, Oscar Ray Woods, and Maxine Reese Brower.
