Services for Morris David Brunt, Jr. will be held Saturday, April 2, 2022 11:00 AM at North Park Church of God of Prophecy in Greenwood, MS.

Mr. Brunt, age 76, died on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at University Medical Center in Jackson.

He was born on October 28, 1945 to the late Morris David Brunt, Sr. and Carrie McGlawn Brunt in Belzoni, and resided in Greenwood most of his life. He was a retired truck driver and attended North Park Church of God of Prophecy in Greenwood. He enjoyed traveling, woodworking and cooking. He is preceded in death by his parents, and wife, Nancy Goss Brunt.

He is survived by his three daughters, Belinda (Glenn "Goonie") Carpenter of Greenwood, MS, Susan (Bob) Grantham of Grenada, MS, and April Brunt of Greenwood, MS; three grandchildren, Colby (Karlee) Carpenter, Ross Carpenter, and Carli Grantham; and two great grandchildren, Lewis Carpenter and Henry Carpenter.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2022 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the church. Rev. Tim Winters and Rev. Daniel Baggett will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be Clay Goss, Johnathan Jones, Brad Perkins, Justin Perkins, Sterling Clark, and Byron O'Bryant. Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Teague, Lynn House, and Dr. Michael Boler. Interment will follow in Odd Fellows East Cemetery.
