Murl Wier of Phillipston, MS, passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at Greenwood Leflore Hospital after complications from surgery.

Mrs. Wier was born on October 15, 1940 to A.F. Richardson and Elizabeth Richardson. She was a member of Phillipston Baptist Church. She retired from Beacon Harbor where she worked for many years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Wier, their daughter, Pamela Wier, her brothers, Alan and Bob Richardson, and her sisters, Pauline Kelly and Ida Bell Green.

She is survived by her daughter, Tracie Wier, her son, Jason Wier, her sisters, Katherine Brown and Sara Moss, and her brothers, Marvin and Pat Richardson.

The Rev. George Mims will officiate the services.

Services will be at 11am Thursday, April 5th, 2018 in the Chapel at Wilson and Knight Funeral Home in Greenwood, MS. Interment will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
