Murry Wayne "Chris" Christopher, 80 , of Citronelle, AL, formerly of Memphis, TN, died Thursday, November 13, 2018 at Crown Health Care in Citronelle, AL. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Friday, November 16, 2018 at Evergreen Cemetery in North Carrollton, MS.

Chris was born February 13, 1938 in Memphis, TN, to Murry Hilliard Christopher and Margaret Lucille Christopher. He proudly served in the United States Air Force and worked for I.C.G. Railroad until his retirement. He was a Baptist. He was preceded in death by his wife, Christine Woods Christopher, and his parents.

Chris is survived by his sons, Danny Overstreet and wife Paula of Citronelle, AL, and Larry Christopher of Memphis, TN; daughter, Angie Akers-Theising and husband Bryan of Charlestown, IN; sister, Minnie Ballard of Jacksonville, FL; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Ken Strachan his nephew, will officiate the service. Wilson & Knight Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
