Services for Nancy Gregg Alewine will be held Friday, December 29, 2017 2:00 PM at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home in Greenwood, MS.

Mrs. Alewine, age 68, died on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at Grace Health and Rehab in Grenada, MS, of renal failure.

She was born on April 20, 1949 in Choctaw County, MS, to the late Wallace and Ophelia Tackett Gregg and resided in Itta Bena all of her life. Mrs. Alewine was an accountant for Medart Locker and Greenwood Leflore Hospital. She was a member of Leflore Baptist Church and was a devoted Christian. She was loved by all her family and friends.  Nancy loved to sew and read, and she loved her pets as if they were her children.  She was preceded in death by her husband, David Alewine.

She is survived by her sister, Sherry (David) Kelly of Itta Bena, MS, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 29, 2017 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home in Greenwood. Rev. Steve Livingston will officiate the services. A private family interment will be held in Providence Baptist church cemetery in Choctaw County.
