Services for Pass Taylor, Jr. will be held Saturday, August 12, 2017 11:00 AM at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home in Greenwood, MS.

Mr. Taylor, Jr., age 83, died on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at his residence.

He was born on May 09, 1934 in Swiftown, MS, to the late Pass Taylor, Sr. and Gladys Ellington Taylor and resided in the Phillipston community all his life. He worked for the Department of Wildlife Fisheries and Parks and was a retired farmer. He was a member of the Phillipston Baptist Church. Mr. Taylor was an avid outdoorsman who loved to duck hunt. He is preceded in death by his son, Pass "Skipper" Taylor III, grandson, Zachary Lee Keestler, and two brothers, Walter Taylor and Bobby Ray Taylor.

He is survived by his son, Ronny (Nikki) Taylor of Vicksburg, MS; four daughters, Deborah Taylor (Huey) Dedmon of Brandon, MS, Kay Taylor (Stephen) White of Somerville, TN, Lissa Taylor (Byron) Galloway of Madison, MS, and Naomi Taylor (Richard) Lingle of Ridgeland, MS; three sisters, Shirley Lusk of Dyersburg, TN, Gloria Everett of Greenwood, MS, and Nannie Belle Johnson of Eupora, MS; 9 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2017 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home. Rev. Huey Dedmon and Rev. Stephen White will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be Craig White, Carl Stokes, Brian Dedmon, Denton Stokes, Stacy White, Jeff Gatlin, and Conner Galloway. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ethan Lingle and Reed Galloway. Interment will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery.
