Obituary

Patricia Ann McDaniel Wiggins, 68 of Teoc died Monday, September 30, 2013 at her residence. Services will be 2p.m. Thursday, October 3, 2013 at Wilson & Knight Chapel. Visitation will be 5p.m. to 8p.m.Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home. Burial will be in Moore's Memorial Cemetery in Teoc. Rev. Larry Livingston will officiate.

Mrs. Wiggins was born May 20, 1945 in Attala County and she lived in the Teoc Community all of her married life. She was a member Malmaison Baptist Church in Carroll County and worked as a nurse at Greenwood Leflore Hospital for over 25 years in the Intensive Care Unit. She was preceded in death by her father Albert McDaniel and brothers Larry Wallace McDaniel and Jim Henry McDaniel

Mrs. Wiggins is survived by her husband of 48 years James Larry Wiggins, Sr. of Teoc and her oldest daughter Teresa Ann Wiggins Taylor and her husband Randy of Teoc. Daughter Vicky Kay Wiggins Blackwell and husband Richard of Fayetteville, AR, son James Larry Wiggins, Jr. and wife Sherri of Holcomb. She is survived by her mother Ida B. Henry of Grenada and her brothers Johnny McDaniel and his wife Ilona of LaGrange, GA, Bill McDaniel and wife Martha of Grenada, Mike McDaniel of Laurel and two sisters Diane Goss and her husband Michael of Greenwood and Doris West and her husband Terry of Oakland. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren Ritchie Blackwell, Jr., James Blackwell, Wil Taylor, Mary Ashton Taylor Bailey, Karie Wiggins, Tristan Wiggins, Emily Wiggins and Gracie Wiggins and 3 great grandchildren John Adin Bailey, Sarah Marie Blackwell, and Samuel Everett Blackwell and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Ritchie Blackwell, Jr., James Blackwell, Wil Taylor, Denver Bowers, Jr., Michael Goss and Terry West. Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne Wiggins, Richard Blackwell, Sr., Randy Taylor, Sr., Kenny Wiggins, Thomas Wiggins, Frankie Wiggins, Lloyd Wiggins, and Otis Wiggins.
