Patsy Harrell Britt was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend whose life was defined by her deep love for people, passed away on Saturday, January, 24, 2026. Private family services will be held at a later date.

Born on August 11, 1955, Patsy had a gift for making others feel comfortable and cared for. She loved her family fiercely and without hesitation. Her greatest joy was her family—especially her daughters, Stephanie Britt Gillespie and Jesica Dunavent, her husband of 49 years, Paul Britt, and her four grandchildren, Charlie Rogan Gillespie, Addison Dunavent, Yates Gillespie, and Henry Gillespie. Being their grandmother brought her immense happiness and pride.

Patsy shared close bonds with her siblings, Sheila Mitchell and Danny Harrell, and held the memory of her sister, Flo Abraham, close to her heart. She was also a loving aunt to numerous nieces and nephews, each of whom held a special place in her heart. Family always came first for her.

For several decades, Patsy worked at Malouf Furniture, where she built lasting friendships and truly loved her work family. She approached her job and her relationships with the same care, loyalty, and kindness she showed at home.

Giving, nurturing, and genuinely caring, Patsy had a way of putting others before herself. She showed her love through her actions—by listening, helping, and simply being there when it mattered most.

Patsy's life was full of meaningful relationships and quiet acts of kindness. She will be remembered for her steady love, her generous heart, and the many lives she touched.
