Patsy Jo "Pat" Armetta Verhage, 83, of Greenwood, MS, passed away on April 7, 2025 in Yazoo City, MS. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, April 12, 2025 at Wilson and Knight Funeral Home in Greenwood, MS, with visitation from 12:00 PM until service time. Rev. Glenn Seefeld will officiate the services.

Pat was born November 28, 1941 in Knoxville, TN, to the late Roy Joseph Armetta and Shermia Simpson Armetta. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, MS Business Women, Four Seasons Garden Club, and the Greenwood Chamber of Commerce. She was presented the Woman of the Year by Business and Professional Women's Club. She served in the MS State Guard during the Hurricane Katrina response.

She is survived by her husband, Jan Verhage of Greenwood, MS; sons, Doug Johnson of Tupelo, MS, Victor Verhage of Huntsville, AL, Mike (Kathryn) Verhage of Huntsville, AL, Marc (Beverly) Verhage of Huntsville, AL, and Craig (Lori) Verhage of Cleveland, MS; grandchildren, Shain Johnson, Darren Verhage, Machaela Verhage, Natalie Verhage, Michael Verhage, Taylor Johnson, Sara Kate Verhage, Addysin Gay, and Kinleigh Carver; and one great granddaughter.
