Services for Paul Weldon Howard will be held Thursday, June 28, 2018 11:00 AM at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home in Greenwood, MS.

Mr. Howard, age 43, died on Monday, June 25, 2018 at Baptist Desoto Hospital in Southaven.

He was born on August 9, 1974 in Greenwood, MS, to William Leon and Ina Rea Bowlin Howard and resided in the Greenwood area all of his life. He was a graduate of Greenwood High School and the University of Mississippi. He was a beloved art teacher at Greenwood High School for the past 17 years, where he was a mentor to his many students and was affectionally known as "Coach Howard." Paul was a very gifted artist, especially at making pottery. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt.

He is preceded in death by his father, William Leon Howard, and a brother, Thomas Halbert Howard.

He is survived by his wife, Jordan Lyons Howard of Holcomb, MS; daughter, Lila Kathleen Howard of Holcomb, MS; mother, Ina Rea Howard of Greenwood, MS; two brothers, Rusty Crutcher and Billy Crutcher; two nieces, Paris and Cierra Howard; nephew Russell Crutcher; and in-laws, Walter and Kathy Lyons.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 28, 2018 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home. Bro. Keith Lyons will officiate the services immediately after the visitation.

Pallbearers will be Mark Taylor, Farrel Graham, Kenny Clardy, John Real, Toney Harris, Clint Cherry, and Shane Belk. Honorary Pallbearers will be Steve Sanford, Rob Sanford, Michael Raymond, and Ralph Guy Smith. Jr. Interment will follow in Odd Fellows East Cemetery.
