Services for Polly Mangrum Chapman will be held Friday January 30, 2015 2:00 PM at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home in Greenwood, MS.

Mrs. Chapman, age 88 died on Tuesday January 27, 2015 at Golden Age Nursing Home of Heart Failure.

She was born on May 11, 1926 in Linton, TN, to the late Sam and Nannie Ussery Mangrum. She lived in Greenwood all of her life, and was a resident of Golden Age Nursing Home the past eight years. She attended Greenwood Church of God and was a former member of the First Christian Church in Greenwood. She was a retired bookkeeper for Chapman Brothers Construction in Greenwood. She was preceded in death by her husband Ray A. Chapman, and a son, Dennis Chapman.

She is survived by Daughter, Sandra Goss of Vaiden, MS, Son, and Jerry Chapman of Booneville, MS, 9 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren

Visitation will be held on Friday January 30, 2015 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home in Greenwood. Rev James McElroy will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be Michael Chapman, Todd Goss, Spence Goss, Cam Goss, Aubrey Goss, and Corley Goss. Honorary Pallbearers will be Vince Saia, David Mitchell, Melvin Miller, and Wilton Neal. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery.
