Robby Ray Jones, 80 of Minter City died Sunday, December 13, 2015 at his residence. Graveside services will be Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at 11 a.m. at New Elbethel Baptist Church Cemetery near Paris, MS. Visitation will be 5:00p.m. until 7p.m. at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home on Monday, December 14, 2015. Burial will be in New El Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Tim Sockwell will officiate. Wilson & Knight Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Jones owned Jones Flying Service in Minter City before he retired and he was a pilot. He was a member of MS Agriculture Aviation Association (MAAA). He was a Baptist and a member of the National Rifle Association. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Mr. Jones is survived by his wife Anne Ives Jones of Minter City, sons Timmy Jones of Minter City, Jeff Jones of Greenwood and Shane Ives of Beebe, AR, two sisters Helen Wheeler of Ellisville, MS and Ruth Gandy of Paris, MS. He is also survived by four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
