Services for Robert Lee Kyle will be held Saturday, September 10, 2016 12:00 PM at Graveside in Lehrton Cemetery in Ruleville, MS

Mr. Kyle, age 83, died on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at Walter Crook Nursing Home

He was born on November 09, 1932 in Cruger, MS, to the late Garland Crowsen and Myrtle Woffard Kyle and lived in Minter City, MS. Mr. Kyle was a Preceded in death by parents, wife Jackie Faye Walker Kyle, and a brother, Carrol Kyle. He was a charter and lifelong member of the Walton Chapel Church of God in Minter City. He was the owner of Minter City Grocery for many years, and was a member of the Leflore County Board of supervisors for 14 years where he served as vice president.

He is survived by three Sons, Jack L. Kyle of Minter City, MS, Joel David (Nancy) Kyle of Minter City, MS, and Stephen Wells (Donna) Kyle of Winona, MS; three Sisters, Helen (Marshall) Moore of Houston, TX, Gail (Eddie) Smith of Greenville, MS, and Judy (David) Halbert of Friendswood, TX; Brother, Weldon (Mary) Kyle of McCool, MS; four grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2016 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home in Greenwood. Rev. Lenny Maples will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be David Walker, Todd Kyle, Stan Kyle, Richard Morehead, Quentin Stubbs, and Stacy Walker. Honorary Pallbearers will be Johnny Sanders, and Alix Sanders. Burial will be in Lehrton Cemetery.
The family extends a special appreciation to Ms. Mary Rose, administrator of the Walter B. Crook Nursing Home in Ruleville, and all of the kind and professional staff at the Crook Nursing Home who gave loving care to him during his illness.
