Robert Lawrence Ritchey, Jr. 76, of Greenwood, MS, died Sunday, April 16, 2017 at Indywood Glen Personal Care. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, April 21, 2017 at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Mr. Ritchey was born January 23, 1941 in Port Gibson, MS. He was a graduate of Port Gibson High School and Mississippi College where he earned his Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Management. He worked in the banking business, was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church and attended St. Francis of Assisi Church. He was also a member of the Lions Club in Port Gibson and the Knights of Columbus.

Mr. Ritchey is survived by his wife, Rebecca Monroe Ritchey of Greenwood, MS; two sons, Rob Ritchey of Clinton, MS, and Howard Stephen Ritchey of Nashville, TN; two sisters, Dorothy Byrd of Greenville, MS, and Lynda Hodge of Parrish, FL; one grandson, Spenser Ritchey of Clinton, MS.

The family would like to thank the staff of Indywood Glen Personal Care, as well as Dutch Ehret and Rutha Doss for their care and kindness. Memorials may be made to Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church or St. Francis of Assisi Church.
