Robert Samuel "Bobby" Springfield, 66 , of Greenwood, MS, died Thursday, August 30, 2018 at his residence. Services will be 3 p.m.  Sunday, September 2, 2018 at St. John's United Methodist Church. Visitation will be 1 p.m. until service time at the church. Dr. Billy Ray Stonestreet will officiate the services. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in North Carrollton, MS. Wilson & Knight Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Bobby was born November 17, 1951 in Cary, MS, to the late Robert Earl Springfield and Virginia Frances Nabors and resided in Greenwood most of his life. He was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church and was a past lay director of the North Mississippi Walk to Emmaus. He was the owner of Springfield Electric, Plumbing, Heating & Air and received the People's Choice Award Electrician for a number of years. He was an avid Ole Miss fan, tennis player, and loved music.

Bobby is survived by his wife, Mary Frances Springfield of Greenwood, MS; daughter, Amy Springfield Brown and husband Richard of Greenwood, MS; sons, Morgan Springfield and wife Jessica of Madison, MS; John Springfield of Destin, FL; and Rob Springfield of Destin, FL; brothers, Mike Springfield of Pine Bluff, AR, and Ernie Springfield of Dallas, TX; sisters, Mary Lou Daniels of Little Rock, AR, Vickie McNeer of Amory, MS; and  grandchildren, Sam Springfield, Joel Springfield, Mary Landry Brown, Ann Morgan Brown, Moss Brown, Selby Springfield, Steed Springfield, and Rivers Springfield.

Pallbearers will be Rhyne Hooks, Chris McClain, Jonathon Fancher, Matt Gnemi, Shannon Minga, and Dodd Turner. Honorary Pallbearers will be Mike Turner, Sid Herring, Lynn Pyron, Dr. Henry Flautt, Ronnie Minga, Barry Matthews, John Hoover, Glenn Williams, Greg Geohagen, Ronnie Sanders and Larry McClain.
