Services for Rosa Lusco Roberts will be held Thursday October 29, 2015 02:00 PM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Greenwood, MS 38930

Mrs. Roberts, age 92 died peacefully at her home on Saturday October 24, 2015.

She was born on July 10, 1923 to the late Anthony and Rosa Greco Lusco in Greenwood and resided there all of her life. Mrs. Roberts was retired from Bellsouth as a telephone operator. She was a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Her three grandchildren were the joy of her life. She is preceded in death by her husband Henry C. "Buddy" Roberts, brothers Charlie Lusco, Johnnie Lusco, Sam Lusco, Joseph Lusco, and sisters Mary Lusco Boone and Annie Lusco Gorringe.

She is survived by two Sons, Henry C. Roberts Jr. and wife Anne of Greenwood, MS, John Anthony Roberts and wife Cathy of Greenwood, MS, and three grandchildren, Christopher Roberts of Nashville, TN, and Jessica and Katelin Roberts of Greenwood. She is also survived by a very dear cousin Sara Frances Swindoll of Greenwood.

Visitation will be held on Thursday October 29, 2015 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Greenwood. Father Gregory Plata OFM will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be Sam Abraham, Zane Hodge, Chris Roberts, Bill Bailey, Scott MacIntosh, and Forrest Hodge. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dr. Henry Flautt, Lee Abraham and Dr. Perry Whites . The family would also like to give a special thanks to caregivers Lynn Owens and Lou Ella Donley, as well as home health nurse Carre Robertson. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery.
