Sammy C. Crawford,65 of Schlater, MS died Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at his residence. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until Noon Saturday, October 25, 2014 at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home.

Mr. Crawford was born January 31, 1949 in Meridian, MS to Archie Whitman and Irma Christine Crawford. He was retired from Mid Valley pipeline. He enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting and fishing. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Mr. Crawford is survived by his wife Carroll A. Crawford of Schlater, son Eddie Crawford and wife Christina of San Antonio, TX, daughter Chrissy Grantham and husband Scott of Greenwood, MS. He is survived by his sister Wanda Robinson and husband Kenny of Eagle Springs, CO and brother Jack Crawford of Foley AL. He is also survived by three grandchildren Samantha Grantham and Nate Grantham of Greenwood, MS and Rylie Crawford of San Antonio, TX.
