Sarah Luzelle Smith Leflore passed on to be with her Lord on Monday, February 15, 2016 at the Providence Assisted Living Center in Grenada
Funeral Services for Sarah Luzelle Smith Leflore will be held Friday February 19, 2016 at 10:00AM in Evergreen Cemetery in Carrollton, MS. Visitation will be Thursday, February 18, 2016 from 5PM until 7PM at Wilson and Knight Funeral Home in Greenwood, MS.
She was born November 7, 1927, to the late Sadye Johnston Smith and Wyatt Albert Smith. She was married to Charles L. Leflore on October 14, 1949. Sarah was a lifelong homemaker who only worked a short time out of her home. She was an avid square dancer, an avid fan of all Mississippi State University sports programs, and loved cooking for her family. She was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church in Greenwood, MS. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Wyatt Albert Smith, Jr., and her husband Charles Leflore.
She is survived by her children, Lynne Leflore Trammel, Charles Stanford Leflore II, Michael Albert Leflore, seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
