Sarah Ann Kimes Millican, age 85, went to be with her Lord on Monday, April 1, 2019 in Birmingham, Alabama. Sarah was born in Carroll County, Mississippi, on July 20, 1933, to the late Ethan Allen Kimes and Sally Lou Kendrick.  She grew up in the area and graduated from Greenwood High School.  She was married to Gerald Wayne Millican and shared almost 61 years of marriage before he passed away.  She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and six siblings.

She is survived by her children, Roxane Shilka (Wayne), Melinda Towns (Chris) and Clint Millican (Betty). She also is survived by her six grandchildren, Joshua Talentino, Gabriella Talentino, Catherine Shilka, Edward Shilka, Philip McMellon, and Daniel McMellon, and one great-grandson, Joseph Talentino.

Services will be held on Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at Wilson and Knight Funeral Home in Greenwood, Mississippi. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until the service at 11 a.m. in the chapel.  Graveside service will follow in Harmony Cemetery in Carroll County.
