Services for Sarah Hodges Pinkston will be held Thursday, August 18, 2016 11:00 AM at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home.

Mrs. Pinkston, age 86, died on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at Greenwood Leflore Hospital.

She was born on July 18, 1930 in Blackhawk, MS, to the late Ben and Mary Lynn Cable Hodges. She retired from Staplcotn after 43 years of service and was a member of Shongalo Presbyterian Church in Vaiden, MS. She is preceded in death by her husband Julius Robert Pinkston.

She is survived by brother, David Hodges of Atlanta, GA; sister, Betty Evans of Vaiden, MS; nephew, Harry Sparkman of LaVergne, TN, and two great nephews, Josh Mills of Duck Hill, MS, and Jacob Mills of Duck Hill, MS.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2016 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home in Greenwood. Rev Philip McRae will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be Ben Peacock, James Funderburk, Donny Whitehead, Barry Bond, Freddie Baine, and Wayne Peacock. Burial will be in Vaiden Cemetery.
