Services for Sarah Fisher Rimmer will be held Tuesday, August 30, 2016 03:00 PM at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home in Greenwood, MS.
Mrs. Rimmer, age 84, died on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Golden Age Nursing Home of Heart Failure.
She was born on October 21, 1931 in Vaiden, MS, and lived in Greenwood most of her life. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Minnie McCorkle Fisher, Husband, James Preston Rimmer, and a brother, Billy Fisher. She was retired from the Greenwood Public School District office as a clerical secretary, and was a member of First United Methodist Church in Greenwood. Mrs. Rimmer loved gardening and cooking for family and friends. Mostly she loved spending time with the children in her life. She loved the Lord and lived her life doing good deeds for others. She will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know her.
She is survived by two Sisters, Juanita Taylor of Greenwood, MS, and Nora Hobert of Clarksdale, MS.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home in Greenwood. Rev. Brad Hodges and Rev Glenn Seefeld will officiate the services. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery.
